Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 2.24 points, or 0.3%, to 8,279.38 points in Sunday’s early trades.
By 10:45 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 52.5 million shares changed hands through 28,140 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 1.13 billion.
The media, capital goods, and banking sectors increased 3.1%, 0.65%, and 0.24%, respectively.
On the negative side, the pharmaceuticals sector dropped 3.17%, followed by the materials and telecommunication services segments with 0.49% and 0.25%, respectively.
Astra Industrial Group’s stock led gainers with 4.58% to SAR 20.10, whereas Sahara Petrochemicals Company’s (Sahara) stock declined 4.75% to SAR 19.04.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 3.54 points, or 0.11%, to 2,981.3 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock went down 2.37% to SAR 12.08, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock jumped 12.09% to SAR 27.20.
