TASI rises, Nomu inches up at Tuesday's open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.19%, or 13.79 points, to 7,205.37 points.

By 10:35 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 35.27 million shares, through 18,200 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 668.26 million.

The media, commercial and professional services, materials, telecommunication services, and banking sectors rose 1.84%, 0.73%, 0.35%, 0.25%, and 0.24%, respectively.

On the flipside, the energy sector decreased 0.72% and transportation sector fell 0.36%.

Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication’s (Go) grew 4.58%, reaching SAR 7.78, whereas Southern Province Cement Company’s (SPCC) stock dropped 1.42% to SAR 48.30.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU edged up 0.03%, or 0.80 points, to 3,063.04 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock levelled up 2.27 to SAR 11.86.
