Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) ended Wednesday 0.0.7% or 4.69 points higher, reaching 6,972.04 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 196.98 million shares on Wednesday, against 175.24 million shares on Tuesday, while liquidity grew to SAR 3.75 billion, from SAR 3.32 billion.
The energy, food and staples retailing, banks, and materials sectors increased 1.5%, 1.2%, 0.2%, and 0.02%, respectively.
On the flipside, the consumer durables and apparel sector shed 0.77%, followed by pharmaceuticals with 0.5%, and telecommunication services with 0.07%.
Emaar The Economic City’s stock levelled up 5.9%, followed by Anaam International Group’s stock with 3.6%, whereas Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock went down 3.5%.
Al Inma Bank’s stock acquired TASI’s traded value with a turnover of SAR 789.47 million, while Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock led in terms of trading volume after 61.86 million shares were exchanged.
In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market surged 4.7% or 135.36 points to 2,999.35 points.
Nomu’s trading volume reached 48,850 shares on Wednesday, against 87,040 shares on Tuesday, while liquidity tumbled to SAR 876,640, from SAR 1.4 million.
Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock topped Nomu’s risers with 5.3%, whereas Raydan Co’s stock fell 2.6%.
The stock of Al-Kathiri Holding Company acquired Nomu in terms of traded volume after 26,060 shares were exchanged, generating SAR 409,520.
