TASI rises, Nomu stable at Thursday's open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.2% or 15.17 points to 7,665.29 points.

By 10:42 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 33.26 million shares, through 17,700 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 681.64 million.

The pharmaceuticals sector rose 1.1%, followed by banks, retailing, and telecommunications services sectors which added 0.7%, 0.6% and 0.3%, respectively.

On the other hand, transportation and materials sectors decreased 0.7% and 0.6%, respectively.

Qassim Agriculture Company’s stock led risers with 4.7%, whereas Takween Advanced Industries’ stock fell 5.7%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,005.08 points.

Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock grew 3.2%.
