TASI rises, Nomu stable early Monday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Monday's trading session up after jumping 77.85 points, or 0.93%, to 8,407.40 points by 10:48 am local time.

TASI’s trading volume hit 25 million shares exchanged through 17,180 shares with a turnover of SAR 648.19 million.

The banking sector rose 1.4% as Al Rajhi Bank’s stock increased 2.6%, followed by the real estate management and development, and telecommunication services sectors with 1.2% and 0.8%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the consumer durables and apparel sector fell 1.4%, while the consumer services sector shed 0.3%.

Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) stock levelled up 4.1%, while Al Sorayai Trade and Industrial Group’s stock declined 5.7%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,094.32 points.

Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock inched up 0.12%.
