TASI rises, Nomu stable early Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) started Tuesday's trading session in the green after growing 11.53 points, or 0.14%, to 8,082.2 points.

By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 28.15 million shares exchanged with a turnover of SAR 562.7 million through 15,240 transactions.

The consumer durables and apparel sector rose 1.08%, followed by the retailing, telecommunication services, banking and materials segments with 0.47%,  0.36%, 0.22%, and 0.21%, respectively. 

On the flipside, the food and staples retailing sector shed 0.86%, while the food and beverages segment fell 0.37%.

Al Sorayai Trade and Industrial Group’s stock increased 6.55% to SAR 21.48, whereas National Gypsum Company’s stock declined 3.8% to SAR 14.40.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,105.6 points.

Raydan Co’s stock inched down 0.66%.
