Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) hiked by 1.45% or 114.58 points at Wednesday’s close to settle at 8,013.44 points.
The telecommunication services added 2.15%, followed by energy and materials with 1.92% and 1.22%, respectively.
The market’s turnover decreased to SAR 10.744 billion today, compared with SAR 10.94 billion a day earlier, the trading volume reached 497.716 million shares from 514.15 million, and the number of deals fell to 410,559 when compared to 434,072.
Emaar The Economic City topped the gainers with 9.92%, whereas Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company led the decliners with 2.50%.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Company led the trading activity on all levels after exchanging 73.417 million shares at SAR 618.034 million.
Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) surged 3.85% to 9,410.35 points.
Newly-listed Saudi White Cement Co. gained 20% while the National Building and Marketing Company went up 9.32%.
The MT30 Index futures – September 2020 rose 1.42% to SAR 1,073 on their fourth trading day at the Saudi derivatives market.
