TASI rises 4th day in row

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session in the green, achieving its fourth consecutive rise.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up 0.08%, gaining 5.44 points, and closed at the level of 6,939.21 points.

Traded values increased significantly to SAR 3.89 billion ($1.04 billion) up from SAR 2.77 billion ($739.2 million) on Sunday.

Similarly, traded volumes rose to 210.17 million shares, compared to 141.66 million shares on yesterday’s session.

The market sector indices saw a mixed performance, as some of the main index gains were offset by the losses of the banks and telecom sectors, which ended the session in the red.

Media and publishing grew 1.83%, leading 10 rising sectors, with materials gaining 0.2%.

Other sectors closed the session in the red zone, with pharmaceuticals losing 0.87%, while banks, and telecom levelled down by 0.27%, and 0.25%, respectively.

Dar Al Arakan was today’s top gainer, as it surged by 5.75% to SAR 9.20.

On the other hand, NADEC fell 2.09% to SAR 32.75 and was the session’s top loser.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market increased by 0.17% and ended the session at 2,909.49 points.
