Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed the November up 1% or 69.6 points to 7,003.97 points.
TASI’s market capitalisation increased SAR13.4 billion ($3.6 billion) to SAR 1.659 trillion ($442 billion) in a month.
The material and the banks sectors went up 2.2% and 2.1%, respectively, despite the fall of 13 sectors during the month.
Investment and financial services sector dropped 16.1% as Kingdom Holding Co’s stock fell.
Traded value surged 13% to SAR 75.1 billion ($20.1 billion) during the month, compared to SAR 66.6 billion ($17.8 billion) in the week before.
Trading volume rose 301% to 4 billion shares during November, up from 3.1 billion shares in October.
Meanwhile, the parallel market NOMU index shed 5.6% or 173 points to 2,933.9 points at the end of November.
NOMU’s trading value reached SAR 31.4 billion in November, compared to SAR 33.98 billion in October.
