TASI rises for 2nd session in row

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session in green, as the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 0.24%, gaining 16.78 points, and closed at the level of 6,993.13 points.

Traded values declined to SAR 3.6 billion compared to SAR 3.08 billion on Monday, while traded volumes also increased to 177.6 million shares up from 152.2 million shares.

As for the sectors’ performance, 14 closed in green, as media and publishing surged 9.89%, followed by healthcare with 1.38%, banks with 0.32%, while telecom edged up 0.01%.

On the other hand, six sectors closed in red, as REITs lost 2.48%, while the materials sector index decreased by 0.05%.

The stock of Printing and Packaging led the session’s gainers and surged 9.9%, closing at SAR 18.8, while National Agricultural Development was the top loser and fell by 2%.

SABIC registered the highest turnover with SAR 376.3 million, while Alinma was the most active in traded volumes with 20.64 million shares.
