TASI rises for 3rd day in row on Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) maintained its gains on Tuesday, rising for the third consecutive trading session.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased by 0.56% or 44.99 points, closing at 8,045.32 points.

Yesterday, TASI surpassed the 8,000-point level reaching its highest since 1 October.

Traded values increased on Tuesday to SAR 3.07 billion, up from SAR 2.68 billion, with volumes reached 120 million shares through 127,700 transactions.

The food sector led the rising market sector indices, as it added 1.7%, followed by basic materials with 1.3% and banks with 0.25%.

Yamama Cement was the top gainer, surging 4.4%, followed by Alujain and Savola with 4.21% and 3.23%, respectively.

On the other hand, Amana Cooperative Insurance Company topped the losing stocks, dropping 3.82%, while followed by Batic Investments and Al Ahlia with 3.68% and 2.23%, respectively.

Al Rajhi registered the highest turnover at SAR 481.12 million, while Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 12.4 million shares.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market soard 5.15% and ended the session at the level of 4,870.1 points.
