Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday’s trading session in green territory for the fourth successive session after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose by 25.15 points, or 0.29%, to 8,821.76 points.
TASI’s traded volume registered 109.289 million shares at a turnover of SAR 2.509 billion through 89,402 transactions.
The consumer services sector topped the gainers after adding 1.33% as Seera Group Holding’s stock rose by 2.17% and National Company for Learning and Education’s stock grew by 2.27%.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector increased by 1.15%, followed by the energy sector which went up 0.93%.
The utilities sector led the decliners with 0.64%, while the food retailing and consumer durables sectors retreated 0.33% and 0.04%, respectively.
Al Rajhi Bank’s stock spearheaded TASI in terms of turnover with SAR 299.028 million, whereas Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development’s stock registered the highest trading volume of 11.305 million shares.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, advanced by 1.87%, or 68.06 points, to 3,702.23 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock was Nomu’s best performer after rising by 18.50%, while the stock of Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores was Nomu’s worst performer with 9.38%.
