Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday with a positive performance after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 24.73 points, or 0.33%, reaching 7,521.64 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 20.66 million shares exchanged through 18,170 transactions at a turnover of SAR 429.28 million.
The media sector rose 1.28%, followed by the consumer durables and apparel sector with 0.65%.
The banking, materials and telecommunication services sectors added 0.56%, 0.16%, and 0.1%, respectively.
On the other hand, the capital goods sector decreased 1.01%, while the transportation sector fell 0.4%.
Saudi Fisheries Company’s (Alasmak) stock led gainers with 5.1%, whereas the Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock was the worst performer after dropping 9.95%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, remained unchanged at 2,426.21 points.
