Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) declined 136.6 points, or 1.6%, to close at 8,177.6 points in the week ended 5 July.
Average liquidity surged 13.47% to SAR 3.3 billion ($887.5 million) over the week, while average trading volume reached 135.5 million shares.
The market is expected to see a big stock collection trend in the short-term, while the real estate and insurance sectors are forecast to rise, technical analyst Safaa Faris told Mubasher.
A group of 19 sectors retreated during the week, topped by media, food production, and consumer services, which dropped 4.4%, 3.9%, and 3.8%, respectively.
On the flip side, the commercial services went up 0.6%.
