TASI slightly up, Nomu down at Sunday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) increased 0.01% or 0.90 points, reaching 7,426.62 points in Sunday’s early trades.

By 10:33 am KSA time, trading value reached SAR 516.59 million, after 26.3 million shares were exchanged through 13,110 transactions.

Most of the sectors levelled up, topped by the real estate investment traded funds (REITs) with 1.7%, followed by the healthcare sector with 1.2%, the utilities sector with 1%, and the materials sector with 0.73%.

On the other hand, the telecom services, the food and staples retailing, and the banks sectors decreased 1.4%, 1.1%, and 0.32%, respectively.

Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co’s stock led risers with an increase of 7.6%, whereas Banque Saudi Fransi’s stock led losers with a drop of 3.1%.

Meanwhile, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market fell 1.3% or 51.13 points to reach 3,763.98 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock led losers with a 3.8% fall, whereas Thob Al-Aseel’s stock solely rose 0.31%.
