Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased 0.05%, or 3.85 points, to 7,287.11 points.
By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 24.43 million shares, through 13,940 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 423.6 million.
The real estate investment traded funds (REITs), telecommunication services, and banks sectors declined 0.74%, 0.33%, and 0.19%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector rose 0.83%, followed by pharmaceuticals with 0.65%, and materials with 0.25%.
Najran Cement Company’s stock fell 1.87% to SAR 9.97, whereas Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical’s (Petro Rabigh) stock gained 4.08%, reaching SAR 18.38.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained unchanged at 3,023.02 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock increased 1.5% to SAR 11.78, whereas Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s levelled down 3.03% to SAR 16.50.
