Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased 0.04%, or 2.84 points, to 7,143.53 points.
By 10:39 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 23.41 million shares, through 14,670 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 404.69 million.
The pharmaceuticals, transportation, food and beverages, telecommunication services, and banking sectors levelled down 0.7%, 0.6%, 0.55%, 0.13%, and 0.05%, respectively.
The media sector rose 1.7%, followed by utilities with 0.4%, and materials with 0.2%.
Saudi Chemical’s stock fell 2.4%, whereas the Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock increased 5.6%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, jumped 5.8% or 178.73 points to 3,280.29 points.
The stocks of Al-Kathiri Holding Company, Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries, and Raydan Co surged 15.9%, 12%, and 10.7%, respectively.
