TASI surges 60 pts, Nomu near stable early Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday with positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.65%, or 60.65 points, reaching 9,337 points.

By 10:43 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 25.43 million shares exchanged through 21,700 transactions at a turnover of SAR 655.19 million.

The banking sector led the gainers with 0.9%, followed by the healthcare, materials, and telecommunication services sectors with 0.8%, 0.7%, and 0.6%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector was the worst performer with 0.18%.

Yamama Cement topped the risers with 5.7%, while MEFIC REIT Fund led the fallers with 1.8%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, NOMU, fell 0.06% to 3,600.42 points.

Arab Sea Information System Co levelled down 2.3%.
