Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) minimised its losses on Tuesday, to close at near-stable, with leading sectors turning to green.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell slightly by 0.02% or 1.36 points to 6,884.90 points.
Utilities led the 13 losing sectors, with 5.34%, followed by the energy sector with 4.62%.
On the other hand, the banks sector topped gainers, with 1.38%, while telecommunications and materials added 0.07% and 0.03%, respectively.
Turnover rose to SAR 2.82 billion ($752 million) from SAR 2.68 billion ($715 million) on Monday, while trading volume increased to 139.47 million shares from 138.3 million shares.
Saudi German Hospital led the 114 losing stocks, with a 9.88% drop to SAR 55.
Meanwhile, 59 shares ended in green, topped by Nama Chemicals with 9.9% to SAR 18.42.
On another note, the benchmark index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market rose 0.24% or 7.24 points, closing at the level of 3,010.22 points.
Raydan topped NOMU stocks, adding 2.41% to SAR 17, while Arab Sea led the losers with 5.25% to SAR 11.72.
