TASI tumbles 11.22 pts, Nomu remains stable early Monday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday in the red zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased 0.44% or 11.22 points reaching 7,182.84 points.

By 10:44 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 16.02 million shares, through 11,340 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 360.32 million.

The telecommunication services sector shed 0.8%, followed by media with 0.5%, diversified financials with 0.4%, and banks with 0.3%.

On the other hand, the food and beverages, retailing, and materials sectors rose 0.45%, 0.4%, and 0.04%, respectively.

Malath Cooperative Insurance Company's stock was the worst performer with 3.7%, whereas Middle East Paper Co.’s (MEPCO) stock led risers with 3.7%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market remained unchanged at the level of 3,185.29 points.

The stocks of Al-Kathiri Holding Company and Baazeem Trading levelled down 2.7%, and 0.6%, respectively, whereas Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock increased 2.9%.
