TASI up, Nomu down at Monday close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday in the green zone after gaining 0.22% or 16 points reaching 7,225.38 points.

The Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading volume stood at 134 million shares, generating SAR 2.9 billion.

The REITs, telecommunication services, banks, and materials sectors grew 2.6%, 0.59%, 0.37%, and 0.17%, respectively.

On the other hand, the media sector fell 2.4%.

Amana Cooperative Insurance’s stock topped TASI’s risers with 5.7%, closing at SAR 27.2, with a liquidity of SAR 144.3 million, whereas Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication’s stock led losers with 3.7%, with a turnover of SAR 10.4 million.

In the meantime, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market tumbled 0.43% or 15 points to reach 3,487.5 points.

Nomu’s traded volume reached 98,600 shares, at a value of SAR 2.3 million.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock declined 4% to SAR 12.26, and Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock shed 0.57% to SAR 70.
