TASI up, Nomu down at Thursday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday up after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.21% or 15.91 points to 7,495 points.

By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 37 million shares, through 18,650 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 722 million.

The media sector increased 3.06%, followed by materials with 0.73%, and telecommunication services with 0.36%.

On the other hand, the real estate management and development, pharmaceuticals, and banks sectors levelled down 0.21%, 0.16%, and 0.01%, respectively.

Al Jouf Cement’s stock grew 4.38% to SAR 10.02%, Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Co’s (SAFCO) stock fell 2.24%, reaching SAR 66.90.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, slipped 0.02% or 0.61% to 3,059.94 points.

The stocks of Development Works Food and Raydan Co tumbled 2.31% and 2.19%, respectively, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock went up 2.05% and Arab Sea Information System’s stock increased 1.44%.
