Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 0.45% or 32.34 points, reaching 7,209.89 points.
By 10:47 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 38.28 million shares, through 21,260 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 744.7 million.
The utilities, food and staples retailing, real estate management and development, materials, banks, and telecommunication services sectors rose 2.5 %, 1.5%, 0.9%, 0.6%, 0.2%, and 0.01%, respectively.
On the other hand, the real estate investment traded funds’ (REITs) sector inched down 0.5%.
Nama Chemicals’ stock increased 3.95%, whereas the stocks of Riyad REIT Fund and The Saudi Industrial Export Company (SIEC) declined 1.8% and 1.2%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, retreated 0.7% or 23.85 points, to 3,235.94 points.
Development Works Food’s stock dropped 5.7%, followed by Baazeem Trading’s stock with 4.9%, and Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock with 2.8%.
On the other hand, Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock grew 1.2% and Arab Sea Information System’s stock edged up 0.08%.
