TASI up, Nomu down early Wednesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.12%, or 8.55 points, to 7,207.96 points.

By 10:46 am KSA time, TASI’s trading amounted to 44.29 million shares, through 23,670 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 814.49 million.

The capital goods, food and staples retailing, insurance, telecommunication services, and materials sectors levelled up 1.5%, 0.8%, 0.7%, 0.4%, and 0.04%, respectively.

On the other hand, the utilities sector inched down 0.7%, followed by media with 0.3%, and banks with 0.04%.

Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes’ stock jumped 9.99%, whereas Yanbu Cement’s stock fell 1.3%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU edged down 0.01%, or 0.25 points, reaching 3,096.77 points.

Al-Kathiri Holding Company dropped 1.4% and Arab Sea Information System fell 0.2%.
