TASI up, Nomu down in open Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange's (Tadawul) opened Tuesday down slightly after the benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) slipped 0.09% or 6.2 points to reach 7,282.67 points.

By 10:35 am Saudi time, 23 million shares were exchanged through 11,650 transactions, at a value of SAR 391.13 million.

The pharmaceuticals sector shed 0.71%, while the telecommunications services sector decreased 0.51%, and the materials sector inched down 0.03%.

On the other hand, the media and banks sectors increased 4.61% and 0.01%, respectively.

Saudi Printing and Packaging’s stock was the worst performer, falling 1.73% to reach SAR 18.16, whereas Al Jouf Cement’s stock led risers, surging 7.73% reaching SAR 7.94.

In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market index increased 1.23% or 44.63 points to reach 3,660.83 points.

Raydan’s stock levelled up 3.53% to SAR 22.90, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock tumbled 1.47% to the level of SAR 20.72.
