Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday’s trading session, the last in January, on a positive note.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) maintained gains for the second consecutive day and rose by 0.75% or 61.08 points and closed at 8,246.59 points.
Traded volumes amounted to 145.69 million shares, with a turnover of SAR 3.7 billion, exchanged through 156,117 transactions.
Al Rajhi registered the highest traded value with SAR 385.014 million, while Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 12.25 million shares.
SABB Takaful was the top gainer and added 4.62%, while Al Hokair led the losing stocks and dropped 4.32%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led the rising sectors and increased by 1.58%, while banks and materials rose by 1.47% and 0.32%, respectively, while the energy sector index lost 0.89%.
In the Parallel Market, the Nomu index added 1.12% on Thursday, closing the week at 7,136.48 points.
