Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday’s trading session in a rise, while the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market saw its biggest surge since its trade began last February.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) went up 0.93%, gaining 63.97 points, and closed at the level of 6,927.59 points, edging closer to the 7,000-point level.
Traded values registered SAR 2.3 billion in the main market.
The banks, telecom, and materials sectors increased by 1.3%, 0.79%, and 0.63% respectively.
Al-baha led today’s gainers as it surged 9.96%, while Mouwasat was the top loser, dropping 2.46%.
Dar Al Arkan was the most active in traded volumes with 38 million shares, while Alinma registered the highest turnover with SAR 496.3 million.
Meanwhile, NOMU gained 4.27%, its highest level since inception on 26 February, adding 172.9 points, and closed at 4217.3 points, with values reaching around SAR 4.8 billion in the parallel market.
