Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange saw marginal gains this week, after closing last week at the 7075.57 points.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) went up by 0.02%, gaining 1.35 points, and closed at the level of 7076.92 points.
Traded values in Tadawul decreased to SAR 15.096 billion compared to SAR 15.1 billion last week, while traded volumes increased to 701.3 million shares up from 684.3 million shares the week before.
The market capital lost SAR 1.08 billion, and ended the week at 1.662 trillion compared to SAR 1.665 trillion the week before.
As for the market performance, the materials sector index declined 0.17%, while the telecom and banks sectors added 0.61% and 0.48% respectively.
Al Ahlia led this week’s gainers as it surged 13.6% to SAR 13.87, while Saudi Cement was the top loser and dropped 13.59% to SAR 51.25.
Alinma was the most active in traded volumes with 101.96 million shares, while SABIC registered the highest turnover at SAR 1.51 billion.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market fell 0.71% or 35.4 points, and closed at 4,925.81 points.
Nomu’s traded values grew this week to SAR 34.5 million compared to SAR 34.3 million last week, registering its second highest weekly amount since trade began on the market on 26 February.
