Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) saw a positive performance this month.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) went up by 0.17%, gaining 11.8 points, and closed at the level of 7,013.47 points.
On the other hand, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Marker lost 8.1%, and closed at 4,702.7 points.
Traded values declined by 9.9% to SAR 65.3 billion in April compared to SAR 72.5 billion in March, while traded volumes reached 3.84 billion shares down from 3.62 billion shares last month.
The market capital increased by SAR 6.9 billion to SAR 1.645 trillion by the end of April.
Nine sectors rose this month, led by REITs, which surged 32.78%, while 11 fell, led by the materials sector index that dropped 16.5%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector added 6.3%, while the banks sector increased by 13%.
