Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt’s (TE) board of directors on Sunday approved the new brand proposal, adding that the company will continue to carry out the remaining regulations pertaining to the new brand in accordance with the company’s statutes.
The board also agreed to appoint Adel Hamid Gadalla as deputy CEO for international affairs, and Hassan Ahmed Abo Taleb as deputy CEO for commercial affairs starting 7 September, TE added in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
Last month, telecommunication sector sources revealed that TE’s fourth-generation (4G) SIM cards will be launched after the Eid Al Adha holiday.
