Tadawul, Nomu end Thursday in red

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) shed 0.11% to close at 6,863.62 points on Thursday.

Traded value reached SAR 2.15 billion on Thursday through exchanging 136.25 million shares.

The utilities sector topped losers and levelled down 1.2%, while the food sector topped gainers and rose 1.1%.

The banks sector went down 0.3%, while the material and telecom sectors levelled up 0.21% and 0.14%, respectively.

Arabian Insurance topped the red zone and declined 3% to SAR 12.90, while Saudi Fisheries Co led the green one and hiked 9.7% to SAR 28.50.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market lost 0.62% or 25.43 points to close at 4,044.42 points.

Traded volume reached 82,070 shares at a value of SAR 1.56 million.

Development Works Food led the best performers and went up 1.1%, while Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries led the worst performers and decreased 2.5%.

Raydan was the most active in terms of traded value with SAR 566,270, while Arab Sea led the traded volumes with 36,430 shares.
