Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose 0.48% or 32.94 points to close at 6,853.54 points on Wednesday.
Traded value reached SAR 2.69 billion on Wednesday through exchanging 92.65 million shares.
The utilities led the gaining sectors and rose 2%, followed by the media sector by 1.1%.
On the other hand, the energy sector lost 0.73%, followed by diversified financials sector by 0.63%.
The banks and material sectors went up 0.93% and 0.31%, respectively, while the telecom sector shed 0.48%.
Al Hammadi Company led the red zone and levelled down 5.3%, while Al Rajhi Takaful topped the green one and hiked 5.4%.
Bupa Arabia was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes with SAR 917.81 million, through exchanging 6.42 million shares.
Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market added 0.5% or 19.99 points to close at 4,049.09 points.
Traded volume reached 42,790 shares at a value of SAR 819,230.
Development Works Food topped the best performers and hiked 8.4% to SAR 90, while Al-Omran Industrial Trading led the red zone and decreased 2.1% to SAR 23.
Abo Moati for Bookstores was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes with SAR 253,380 by exchanging 19,170 shares. The stock closed at SAR 13.36.
