Tadawul, Nomu lose at Monday open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Monday 0.23% or 15.77 points lower, reaching 6,974.66 points.

By 10:39 Makkah time, 21.68 million shares were exchanged through 13,240 transactions at a value of SAR 414.61 million.

The consumer goods topped the losing sectors and fell 1.4%, followed by the energy sector by 0.5%.

The banks and material sectors shed 0.4% and 0.2%, respectively.

On the other hand, REITs led the best performers and rose 1.1%, followed by healthcare and telecom by 0.86% and 0.19%, respectively.

National Industrialization Co led the falling stocks and decreased 1.7%, while Halwani Bros topped gainers and increased 3.4%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market shed 0.27% to stand at 5,001.97 points.

Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores led the worst performers and lost 0.19%, while Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Co topped gainers and inched up 0.8%.
