Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) fell 0.36% or 67.24 points to 6,828.87 points at Thursday’s open.
By 10:52 am KSA time, 16.7 million shares were exchanged at a value of SAR 330.6 million.
The food retailing sector topped the green zone and increased 1.4%, followed by utilities with 0.5%.
The telecom sector added 0.27%, while the material and banks sectors decreased 0.41% and 0.28%, respectively.
Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market opened Thursday down 0.49% or 19.8 points to stand at 4,029.25 points.
Traded values reached SAR 2.01 million through trading 35.1 million shares.
Thob Al-Aseel Company led the losing stocks and retreated 12.94% to SAR 74 by 10:53 am KSA time at its first day of trades.
Development Works Food solely rose 0.46% to SAR 83 by SAR 10:50 am KSA time.
