Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose 0.42% or 29.18 points to 6,901.95 points at Wednesday’s open.
By 10:27am Makkah time, 16.33 million shares were exchanged through 11,060 transactions at a value of 366.44 million.
The healthcare sector led the best performers and increased 1.3%, followed by the retailing sector by 1.2%.
The material, banks, and telecom sectors added 0.42%, 0.41%, and 0.22%, respectively, while the pharmaceutical sector was the only loser by 0.28%.
Al Hammadi led the green zone and levelled up 3.1% to SAR 43.7, while Go topped the 15 worst performers and fell 2.2% to SAR 3.95.
Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market went up 0.1% or 5.37 points to stand at 5,109.39 points.
Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores topped Nomu’s best performers and gained 2.1%. Al Omran Trading shed 0.53%, and Al Samaani for Metal Industries opened stable.
