Tadawul, Nomu start Wednesday on positive note

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 0.23% or 15.97 points to 7,002.16 points at Wednesday’s open.

By 10:28am Makkah time, 17.4 million shares were exchanged through 9,700 transactions at a value of 378.85 million.

SABIC was the most active in terms of traded value with SAR 77.1 million. The stock went up 0.42% to SAR 99.

Alinma Bank came second and achieved SAR 38.1 million through exchanging 2.5 million shares. The stock inched up 0.13% to SAR 14.95.

The pharmaceuticals sector was the only loser and fell 0.27% while the energy sector led the green zone and rose 0.88%.

The material, banks, and telecom sectors lost 0.8%, 0.1%, and 0.29%, respectively.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market went up 0.03% to stand at 5,010.8 points.

Al Samaani for Metal Industries topped the best performers and levelled up 1.2% to SAR 84.
