Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange closed high on Monday, amid low trading.
The main index rose 0.57% or 34.24 points to stand at 6,012.22 points.
The media sector shed 0.16%, followed by the energy sector which fell 0.49%.
The industrial investment led the rising sectors increasing 2.46%, followed by the retail and telecom sectors which added 1.32% and 1.21%, respectively.
Traded value retreated 2.3% to SAR 3.04 billion, compared to SAR 3.12 billion on Sunday, while traded volume decreased 5.2% to 189.35 million shares from 199.8 million shares yesterday.
On the stock level, 107 shares levelled up, 56 levelled down and 6 stock remained unchanged.
Mouwasat Medical Services recorded the highest gains advancing 9.03%, followed by Al Ahsa Development which grew 7.11%.
On the other hand, Enaya Cooperative Insurance insurance fell 2.76%, followed by Yanbu National Petrochemicals Co. (Yansab) which went down 2.08%.
