Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) added 2.34% or 129.23 points to stand at 5,651.80 points on Thursday.
Traded volume reached 264.4 million shares at a value of SAR 4 billion, distributed over 103,600 transactions.
The telecom sector was the only loser shedding 0.17%.
The energy sector led the gaining sectors increasing 5.45%, followed by the petrochemical and banks sectors which advanced 0.14% and 3.45%, respectively.
On the stocks level, 137 shares levelled up, 30 levelled down and only two companies remained unchanged.
Malath Insurance Companytopped the worst performers declining 9.88%, followed by Lazurde Company for Jewelry and Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co. which lost 8.75% and 6.27%, respectively.
The Saudi Ministry of Finance completed pricing and allocating the first offering of the USD-denominated international bonds as part of the international program for issuing public debt instruments on Thursday.
The aggregate amount of the first offering reached $17.5 billion, while total subscription requests stood at $67 billion.
