Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s session with a slight rise of 0.10% or 6.58 points to the level of 6,699 points.
Trading volume exceeded 257 million shares exchanged at SAR 5.3 billion through executing 117,000 transactions.
The industrial investment was the best performing sector after adding 0.90%, followed by retail and agriculture and food industries sectors with an increase of 0.89% and 0.69% respectively.
Meanwhile, the real estate and insurance sectors shrank 1.22% and 0.73% respectively, and the telecom was flat.
Saudi Marketing topped gainers after rising 7.97% to SAR 47, followed by National Industrialization with a growth of 4.82% to SAR 12.40.
On the other hand, Al Rajhi Takaful, AXA Cooperative Insurance and Al Ahlia Insurance topped losers after falling 5.34%, 4.75% and 8.80% respectively.
SAPIC made the highest liquidity of SAR 866 million, while Alinma Bank was the largest-traded stock with a trading volume of 62 million shares.
