Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session in gains, rising for the seventh consecutive session and nearing its highest level in four months, amidst an increase in liquidity and the recovery of most market sectors.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 1.39% or 115.66 points and closed at 8,416.39 points, its highest level since 22 August.
Meanwhile, traded volumes increased to 219.69 million shares, up from 173.486 million shares yesterday, with values rising to SAR 5.25 billion, compared with SAR 4.03 billion on Sunday.
As for the stocks performance, Salama Cooperative Insurance surged 9.93% and led the rising stocks, while Saudi Ceramic topped the losers and declined by 3.24%.
Saudi Aramco was the most actively traded stock with 29 million traded shares and the highest turnover of SAR 1.03 billion.
All the market sectors closed in green, except for food retail that lost 0.14%. The materials index gained 1.65%, while banks and energy added 1.36% and 0.89%, respectively.
