Riyadh – Mubasher: The general index of the Saudi bourse, the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), closed Monday’s trading in the green zone after rising by 0.70% or 55.45 points to settle at 7957.38 points.
Liquidity hiked to SAR 9.4 billion today, compared with SAR 7.96 billion a day earlier, the trading volume reached 374.88 million shares when compared to 396 million, and the number of concluded deals totalled 374,880 from 317,160.
The energy and banks gained 2.09% and 0.72%, respectively, and the materials inched up by 0.05%.
The Saudi Printing and Packaging Company came on top of the gainers with 10%, whereas Solidarity Saudi Takaful Company led the decliners with 4.92%.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Company led the trading activity through the exchange of 32.508 million shares, while Saudi Aramco posted the largest turnover of SAR 578.333 million.
At the same time, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) closed down by 3.23% to 8508.39 points after losing 283.76 points.
Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company was the only riser by 3.73%, whereas the National Building and Marketing Company was the top faller with 10.35%.
