Tadawul closes Thursday in green

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday’s trading session gains amidst a positive performance by major market sectors.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) closed at 8,397.01 points, adding 0.46% or 38.16 points.

Traded volumes increased to SAR 3.47 billion with volumes at 147.58 million shares.

Saudi Aramco was the most actively traded stock, with a turnover of SAR 328.3 million and 9.4 million traded shares, before closing at SAR 35.15, rising by 0.14%.

Saudi Cable topped the rising stocks as it surged by 10%, its highest gains since 2018, while Al Kathiri was the biggest loser with a 2.02% decline.

As for the market sector indices, telecom led the rising sectors by adding 1.2%, while banks went up by 0.62%.

Energy and materials also leveraged by 0.17% and 0.16%, respectively.

On the other hand, only three market sector ended the session in decline, topped with healthcare that lost 0.52%.

Meanwhile, the Nomu Parallel Market Index lost 1.24% and closed at 6,869.74 points.
