Tadawul closes Thursday on second decline in row

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Thursday’s trading in decline, for the second consecutive session, as the benchmark index TASI lost 0.40% or 26.58 points and closed at 6,628.53 points.

Trading volume amounted to 177 million shares with a turnover of SAR 3.65 billion through 174,740 transactions.

The energy sector index declined by 1.01%, while materials and telecom retreated by 0.55% and 0.39%.

Meanwhile, the banks sector index lost 0.11%.

Arab Sea was the top losing stock and decreased by 4.87%, while Yamama Cement led the gainers and 3.95%.

Dar Alarkan was the most actively traded stock with 35.38 million shares, while Al Rajhi logged the highest turnover of SAR 365.99 million.

In the parallel market, the NomuC index closed down by 2.28% at the level of 6,723.74 points.
