Tadawul closes Wednesday in green

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose on Wednesday, supported by the gains of the banks sector.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 0.25% or 19.72 points and closed at 7,915.36 points.

Traded volumes amounted to 148.13 million shares with a turnover of SAR 3.42 billion.

The banks sector index added 1.09%, while energy, telecom, and materials lost 0.66%, 0.36%, and 0.05%, in that order.

Anaam Holding surged by 9.22% and closed today’s trading session as the biggest gainer, while SARCO was the biggest losing stock and fell by 10%.

Dar Al Arkan was the most actively traded stock with 23.9 million shares, while Al Rajhi recorded the highest traded value with SAR 267.4 million.

In the meantime, the Nomu Parallel Market index went up by 1.38% and closed at 7,410.21 points.
