Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session in decline, on the back of losses by major market sectors.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down by 0.31% or 24.75 points to close at 7,853.08 points.
Traded volumes amounted to 90.16 million shares, exchanged through 104,620 transactions at SAR 2.25 billion.
The third consecutive decline for TASI was driven by the telecom and banks sectors losing 0.93% and 0.43%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy sector added 0.56%, while transportation increased by 0.14%.
SABB led the rising stocks and gained 3.37%, followed by Metlife with 2.84%.
On the other hand, Anaam Holding was the top losing stock as it dropped 7.67%.
Al Rajhi registered the highest turnover at SAR 439.51 million, while Anaam was the most actively traded stock with 8.74 million shares.
