Tadawul closes Wednesday on marginal rise

Riyadh - Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday’s trading on marginal gains, backed by a rise in three sectors.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched up by 0.02% or 1.46 points to settle at the level of 7,309.67 points.

Traded value totalled SAR 6.15 billion on Wednesday after 331.25 million shares were exchanged.

The Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company led the winners with 9.95%, whereas Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Company came on top of the losers with 5.88%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate led the trading activity through the exchange of 56.21 million shares, while Seera Group posted the largest turnover of SAR 905.475 million.

The banks sector headed the risers with 0.13%, whilst the telecommunication services and the energy instruments gained 0.27% and 0.01%, respectively. The materials sector closed down by 0.51%.
