Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s session with a slight fall of 0.09% or 5.91 points to the level of 6,553 points.
Trading volume reached 158 million shares exchanged at SAR 2.9 billion.
The session saw 76 green shares, while 81 others closed on a negative note.
The media and publishing sector was the best performer after rising 1.13%, followed by the telecom sector with a growth of 0.50%.
Meanwhile, the energy sector was the worst performer after falling 2.27%, followed by the hotel and tourism sector with a 1.69% decrease.
Arabian Pipes led the green list with a rise of 9.8% to SAR 11.05, while United Cooperative Assurance topped the red list with a drop of 7.14% to SAR 10.15.
Alinma Bank was the largest-traded stock with a volume of 34.6 million shares, whereas the highest liquidity went to SABIC with SAR 478.8 million.
