Tadawul down, Nomu stable at Wednesday open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) lost 0.48% or 33.77 points to 6,989.04 points at Wednesday’s open.

By 10:45 am KSA time, 51.7 million shares were exchanged through 17,790 transactions at a value of SAR 814.37 million.

The REITs sector led the worst performers and fell 1.2%, followed by the material and capital goods sectors which decreased 1% and 0.96%, respectively.

The telecom and banks sectors went down 0.5% and 0.08%, respectively.

The media sector topped the green zone and rose 2%, followed by the insurance sector which went up 0.25%.

Aslak came on top of 118 losing stocks and fell 5.1%, while Al Rajhi Takaful led the gaining ones and levelled up 4%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market stood stable at 4,585.95 points.

Al-Omran Industrial Trading led the rising stocks of Nomu and advanced 2.4% to SAR 27.60.
