Tadawul down, Nomu up at Thursday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) decreased 0.41% or 28.29 points to 6,939.42 points at Thursday’s open.

By 10:36 am KSA time, 40.71 million shares were exchanged through 14,460 transactions at a value of SAR 596.66 million.

The REITs sector led the worst performers and fell 1.1%, followed by the pharmaceuticals and commercial services sectors which went down 0.91% and 0.83%, respectively.

The material, telecom, and banks sectors shed 0.5%, 0.14%, and 0.11%, respectively.

The food and beverage sector rose solely 0.05%.

Red Sea topped the red zone and declined 2.7%, while Sadafco led the best 24 performers and went up 1.4%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market added 0.38% or 17.13 points to 4,491.22 points.

Arab Sea and Raydan Co advanced 3.8% and 1.1%, respectively, while Baazeem Trading led losers and retreated 3%.
