Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) declined for the second consecutive week, amidst a mixed performance by the main sectors.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) lost 0.4% or 26.80 points and closed at 6,604.9 points
Market cap decreased by around SAR 16 billion ($4.25 billion) to SAR 7.546 trillion, compared with SAR 7.58 trillion in the previous week.
Ten market sectors ended the week in losses, as banks and materials retreated by 1.1% and 1.9%, while other sectors closed the week in green, led by the energy index that gained 0.6%.
Traded values increased by roughly 5% to SAR 18.26 billion, compared with SAR 17.4 billion in the previous week.
Traded volumes marginally increased to 880 million shares, from 878.47 million shares in the previous week.
SABIC recorded the highest losses after falling by 7.86%, while Alinma led the trading activity with 117.13 million shares and a turnover of SAR 1.7 billion.
The Nomu-Parallel Market increased by 11.55% during the week, closing at 7,430.43 points.
